Mark Wong first met Sifu Wong Shun Leung at the young age of nine in Hong Kong. This was when Mark first saw and began his training in WSLVT starting with Sifu Wong, and later with various Sihings after Sifu Wong’s passing.

Mark participated in the 5th Hong Kong International Wushu Competition 2010. This is a prestigious international competition, which attracts Wushu practitioners from around the world. Mark won the Gold medal in the “80 KGS Full Contact Category”.

In 2011, Mark joined the PVT Group in Hong Kong and became one of the head coaches to help further promote WSLVT. The same year, he joined Jerry Yeung of PVT Group to attend the “Border Incident” in Melbourne, Australia, as a presenter in the event. In 2012, Mark and Jerry Yeung presented at the first WSLVT Gathering in Malaysia at David Peterson’s school.

In 2014, Mark and Jerry Yeung Co-Hosted a Hong Kong TV episode of Kung Fu Quest III in Japan, while in the same year Mark hosted another TV episode exploring Chen Style Tai Chi Martial Arts, both programmes were produced by RTHK (Radio Television Hong Kong)

In 2016, Mark parted ways with the PVT Group due to work constraints and began helping John Wong Hong Chung, Sifu Wong Shun Leung’s son, part-time to further promote WSLVT. In 2017, Mark was one of the presenters at the Wong Shun Leung Ving Tsun North America (WSLVTNA) Event at Gary Lam’s school. In July of 2019, Mark moved back to the California, USA and continues to instruct those who are passionate to learn about the WSLVT system.
